Before you decide
What do I actually get for my money? The deck, a UK adaptor and instructions. No speakers.
Three wood finishes, one price. In the box:
- The turntable, cartridge already fitted, stylus guard on
- A UK power adaptor
- Printed instructions
The controls are on the plinth itself rather than hidden round the back: a source selector marked LINE IN and BT, a combined power and volume knob, and a 3.5 mm headphone socket.
No speaker grille appears on any face in any photograph, and the maker has not confirmed whether a speaker is fitted. Headphones are certain. Sound in the room is not. We have asked, and this page changes the day the answer arrives in writing.
Want the speakers in the box instead? Will this damage my records?Cartridge type not stated by the maker. We have asked.
The honest answer on this model is that we do not know yet, and we would rather say so than print a number.
What decides record wear is tracking force, meaning how hard the needle presses into the groove. A moving-magnet cartridge presses around 1.5 to 2.5 grams. A ceramic one presses around 5 to 7. That is four or five times the pressure, and it is the whole question.
The maker states neither the cartridge type nor the tracking force. It is the first thing we have asked for, and it is listed as missing further down this page rather than filled in with a guess.
Every play wears a record a little, on any turntable at any price. Correct tracking force slows that down. Nothing stops it.
The model with a named cartridgeWill it work with what I already own?3.5 mm headphones. No RCA output on any photographed face.
Confirmed on this deck:
- A 3.5 mm headphone socket on the plinth
- A LINE IN input, so a phone or a laptop plays through it by cable
- Bluetooth, chosen with the same selector
What is not confirmed is an output. No RCA sockets appear on any photographed face, and the maker has never photographed the back of the cabinet.
Until that is answered, assume this deck does not feed an amplifier or a pair of powered speakers. If you already own a hi-fi, a soundbar, or powered speakers such as Edifier or KRK, this is not yet the model we would point you at.
The ones with a confirmed RCA outputWhat if it is a gift, or I change my mind?
Both are covered by the same thing: 30 days to send it back for any reason. You do not need to explain yourself, but do contact us first so we can send you the return address.
Buying for someone else? Two things are worth knowing before you order, and neither of them is about the turntable:
- Whether they have anything to play it through. A deck with no speakers, given to somebody with no amplifier, makes no sound on the day. If you are not sure, choose one with its speakers in the box.
- Whether they already own records. If they have inherited a collection, the cartridge line above is the part that matters to them.
Every turntable also carries a two-year warranty covering parts and labour.
Tell us what they already own and we will tell you which one to get. If the answer is that they do not need anything from us, we will say that too.

Everything the maker states about this one, in their own words — and the parts they have left blank.
Specifications, exactly as the maker states them
A full-size turntable on a rectangular wooden plinth, with a hinged full-size acrylic dust cover, sold in three finishes. It is not a suitcase player and it is not a portable: the cabinet is a solid box, the arm is a straight tube with a detachable headshell, and the controls sit on the plinth itself rather than on a panel at the back.
It is made in Guangdong, China, by the factory that lists it under the type number L-CDJ-10. We have not renamed the internals and we have not invented the numbers. Where the manufacturer has not stated something, it is listed at the bottom of this page rather than guessed at.

What the controls tell you
The manufacturer does not describe the controls anywhere. We have read them off the photographs at full resolution, and they are more informative than the specification table.
There are two rotary controls on the plinth. The first is a source selector marked LINE IN and BT. The second is marked ON and OFF at one end, MIN and MAX at the other — a combined power switch and volume control. Beside them sit a POWER indicator and a 3.5 mm HEADPHONE socket.
A volume control, a line input and a Bluetooth input only make sense on a deck that amplifies. You do not fit a volume knob to something that has no output of its own. So this is very probably a turntable with its own amplification, which can also play sound from your phone — by cable or wirelessly — through whatever it drives.
What it drives, we cannot yet tell you. No speaker grille appears on any face in any photograph, and the back of the cabinet has never been photographed. It has been asked.
What 5 V, 2 A tells you
Ten watts, in total, for everything: the motor, the electronics and whatever amplification is fitted. That is the right order of magnitude for a pair of small speakers of a few watts each, and it is nowhere near a hi-fi amplifier. It sets the scale of the thing honestly: this is a deck for a room, not for a hall.
Three speeds, unnamed
The manufacturer states three speeds and does not name them. On a deck of this construction they are almost always 33⅓, 45 and 78 rpm. Almost always is not the same as stated, so three speeds is all we will claim until we have it in writing.
What is visible in the photographs
Read off the manufacturer's own images at full resolution, not written by them. Treat it as observation rather than specification.

Not stated by the manufacturer
This is the part most shops leave off. These are the things we have asked for and do not yet have in writing. Nothing here is a defect; it is simply not yet confirmed, and we would rather you knew that than read a number we made up.
- Cartridge type and model. Whether it is ceramic or moving magnet, and which one. This is the single most important unknown on this page.
- Tracking force in grams. The number that decides how fast your records wear.
- Whether the stylus is replaceable, and the part number if it is
- Whether any speaker is fitted, and if so its power and where it fires
- Whether there is a line output at all, and if so at line or phono level
- Which three speeds
- Drive type — belt or direct
- Frequency response
- Whether the arm has an adjustable counterweight or anti-skate
- Product dimensions with the lid closed, separately from the carton
- UK plug type and the adaptor supplied
- Exact box contents and cable length
- Manufacturer's warranty period
Delivery weight
3.3 kg gross. Carton 40 × 18.8 × 42 cm.
Do I need a phono preamp?
A record player puts out a much weaker signal than anything else in your house, so it needs a phono stage somewhere. The only question is where that stage sits.
If the deck comes with its own speakers, the phono stage is already inside and there is nothing to work out. If you are plugging into an amplifier, look on the back for a socket marked PHONO and use it. If your amplifier only has LINE, AUX or CD sockets, you need a deck with its own phono stage or a separate box from about £25.
This page states what this particular turntable has, and says so plainly where the maker has not told us.
Ask us what works with yoursWhen does the stylus need replacing?
A stylus wears out somewhere around 500 to 1,000 hours of playing, depending on the type. A worn stylus does not just sound duller — it damages every record you play with it. If you cannot remember ever changing one, it is probably due.
Where the maker names the cartridge, the replacement is a stock part you can buy from any decent dealer rather than something only we can supply. That is stated on this page for each model.
What if I get it home and it is the wrong one?
Thirty days to send it back for any reason. You do not need to explain yourself, but do contact us first so we can send you the return address. Keep the original box if you can - a turntable posted back loose tends to arrive damaged, and that becomes a problem for both of us.
Every turntable also carries a two-year warranty covering parts and labour.
Delivery and returnsWhen will it arrive, and what does delivery cost?
Delivery is free on every order across the United Kingdom, with no minimum spend and no surcharge for the Highlands or the islands. The expected date for your address is shown at checkout before you pay.
Everything travels tracked, and the tracking number reaches you by email once the parcel is collected.
